OUR PROCESS

Officer requests are collected through a form on our website

Officers are verified to be active, sworn law enforcement, & necessary information is collected. Request here.

Donations are tax-deductible, as E614 is a 501(c)(3) organization. 100% of every donation is used only to purchase and ship safety equipment to officers.
All administrative fees, labor, & overhead are donated in-kind. View our financials.

Equipment includes DOJ Approved, Level III ballistic plates (front and back) and carriers. This is put on on top of the standard issue Kevlar bullet resistant vest when entering a more dangerous situation, such as an active shooter. It is rifle resistant where Kevlar is not.

Thanks to a generous partnership with Tactical Scorpion Gear, the average cost for E614 to purchase and ship armor to an officer is about $185.

Officers are automatically placed on a waiting list until the funds to purchase their armor are obtained. We serve on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Due to a high response from officers, our wait time is sizeable. We cannot guarantee any wait time, and wait times are determined by the amount of donations that come in.

When you or your family are in need of assistance, law enforcement officers are there to help. They place their own lives on the line for ours. They sacrifice their own safety for ours. This equipment gives officers an extra layer of safety so that they can continue to protect their communities.
